We are now hiring a Part Time Automotive Laborer/Shop Helper!
We are a local towing company looking to hire a Part Time Automotive Laborer/ Shop Helper to work in our shop and outside stripping vehicles to prepare for scrap (including draining fluids, cutting metal with a cutting torch, removing tires and more). Tasks may include cleaning out, vacuuming and detailing vehicles, completing small repairs on vehicles, changing tires, sorting tires, mounting tires on rim and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Our ideal candidate is :
- Experienced in the automotive field and possesses mechanical knowledge and ability.
- Experienced using a tire machine and changing tires.
- Experienced in the safe use of power tools and metal cutting tools.
- Safety minded, following safety protocols (including wearing gloves and protective eye wear) and other safety equipment as directed.
- Able to perform small repairs on vehicles as needed.
- Able to perform miscellaneous duties.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors.
- Able to clean vehicles and vacuum vehicles to showroom quality condition.
- Able to work part time hours, with possible increase to full time hours if desired, depending on tasks available and skill level.
Salary: $20.00 per hour, paid weekly, pay raise depending on qualifications, wages discussed at your appointment
